This report presents the results from the AWID 2008 global survey of donors and women’s rights activists in relation to the funding sources, the conditionalities, and amounts given to women’s organisations to address HIV and AIDS.

We believe that feminist futures are not only possible but that they exist now, in the many small and big ways people and movements live, struggle and build. These feminist realities go beyond resisting oppressive systems to show us a what a world without domination, exploitation and supremacy look like.

We shine a light on the current funding ecosystem, which range from self-generated models of resourcing to more formal funding streams.

To make the program truly representative of the diversity of the movements we put in place a new and engaging way to choose the proposals.
