Term:  Full Time - 35 hours a week - fixed term 1 year
Salary: The base annual salary for this position is USD $72,267.00

AWID is a global, feminist, membership, movement-support organization. Our mission is to support feminist, women’s rights, and gender justice movements to thrive, to be a driving force in challenging systems of oppression, and to co-create feminist realities. We currently have 35+ staff members based in 20+ different countries.

The position and profile

AWID is looking to hire an Information, Communication and Media  (ICM) Multimedia Production Lead. This Role is responsible for overseeing the creation, development, and execution of multimedia content across a range of AWID’s platforms.

The key responsibilities are leading the multimedia strategy development, content development and promotion, graphic design, multimedia production and promotion, website and digital integration, monitoring evaluation and reporting as well as organizational development and support.

The right candidate will be committed to the principles of feminism and anti-oppression, be familiar with regional and global realities of feminist movements with regards to communication. Successful applicants should be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with diverse stakeholders and have excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies. 

We are looking for someone with expertise in creating various forms of content including video, photographic, audio and other multimedia elements for diverse platforms. The candidate must demonstrate the capacity to use various communication tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar tools. Ability to thrive in a virtual environment working under high-pressure situations and with tight deadlines, possessing high levels of initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness is important.
