Sexting como feminista: el humor en la revolución digital feminista

El 2 de septiembre de 2021 lxs increíbles activistas feministas y por la justicia social del festival Crear | Résister | Transform de AWID nos juntamos no solo para compartir estrategias, crear juntxs y transformar al mundo sino también para decir cosas sucias en Twitter.

Este ejercicio lo facilitó Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah, una de las fundadoras del blog Adventures From The Bedrooms of African Women [Aventuras desde los dormitorios de mujeres africanas] y autora de​​​​​​​ The Sex Lives of African Women, [Las vidas sexuales de las mujeres africanas] que se asoció con la plataforma digital mujerista y queer panafricana​​​​​​​ AfroFemHub, para preguntar cómo podemos explorar nuestro placer, nuestros deseos y nuestras fantasías en forma segura y consensuada a través de mensajes de texto. 

En resumen: ¿cómo sextea unx feminista?

Creo que esta pregunta es fundamental porque involucra una cuestión más amplia: cómo nos manejamos en el mundo virtual desde una perspectiva feminista. Bajo el capitalismo, los discursos en torno a los cuerpos y al sexo pueden resultar deshumanizadores y distorsionadores; gestionar el placer sexual en espacios virtuales puede sentirse un acto performativo. Por eso, buscar vías para explorar cómo podemos compartir nuestro deseo en formas afirmativas y que nos entusiasmen puede ser una forma de resistir a los modelos dominantes de presentación y consumo así como una reivindicación de estos espacios y sus posibilidades de participación auténtica, demostrando que todo el sexting debería ser exactamente así: feminista.
 
Además, permitir que el discurso feminista asuma su lado más juguetón en el ámbito virtual nos ayuda a reformular esa narrativa tan difundida por la que actuar como feminista implica hacerlo con amargura y sin placer alguno. Pero, como bien sabemos, divertirnos es parte de nuestro trabajo político y un compomente intrínseco de lo que implica ser feminista.
 
Utilizando la etiqueta #SextLikeAFeminist, [SextComoFeminista] académiquxs y activistas de distintas partes del mundo aportaron sus tuits feministas más sedientos de placer y aquí les presento a mis diez favoritos.
 
Como lo demuestran estos tuits, resulta que sextear como feminista es sexy, divertido – y caliente – todo eso sin perder de vista el compromiso con la equidad y la justicia.

Un Manifiesto

Como movimientos feministas y sindicales, juntxs en solidaridad, articulamos los siguientes puntos como una visión colectiva de las economías de los cuidados con los derechos de lxs trabajadorxs domésticxs como eje central.

Nuestro manifiesto responde a un contexto complejo:

El trabajo doméstico y de cuidado estuvo en la primera línea de fuego durante y después de la pandemia de COVID-19, al proporcionar los medios para sobrellevar las múltiples crisis globales que se intersectan. El Banco Mundial, el Fondo Monetario Internacional y otras instituciones multilaterales también reconocen la importancia del trabajo doméstico y de cuidados para el sostenimiento de la economía. Sin embargo, vemos que esta atención adopta un enfoque utilitarista (es decir, el trabajo de cuidados contribuye a sostener a la economía "productiva") centrado en el lucro, sin reconocer los cuidados como un derecho humano y un bien público, ni prestar atención a lxs trabajadorxs que realizan la mayor parte de este trabajo.

Du renforcement des connaissances sur les enjeux liés aux droits des femmes à l’élaboration de réponses plus efficaces aux violences perpétrées contre les défenseuses des droits humains, nos efforts de l’an dernier n’ont cessé de poursuivre la consolidation des mouvements féministes et de droits des femmes du monde entier.

Consultez le rapport pour en apprendre davantage sur la façon dont nous avons renforcé les capacités de nos membres et plus largement de notre public , exercé de fortes pressions pour que les droits des femmes demeurent au premier plan des principaux processus internationaux relatifs au développement et aux droits humains, et contribué à améliorer la couverture médiatique des problématiques des droits des femmes et des processus organisationnels qui y sont liés. Le rapport propose une vue panoramique de nos projets ainsi que certains chiffres qui témoignent concrètement de notre impact.

La collaboration est au cœur de toutes nos actions et nous anticipons avec enthousiasme une autre année de travail ensemble afin de mener nos mouvements vers un niveau supérieur.

Coup d'oeil à l'intérieur du rapport

Dans un contexte de plus en plus exigeant, nous pouvons néanmoins discerner d’importants signes d’espoir de voir les priorités relatives aux droits des femmes progresser. Les activistes des droits des femmes jouent toujours un rôle crucial dans la création d’espaces au sein desquels il est possible d’exiger des changements structurels, de soutenir les communautés, de s’opposer à la violence et de préserver les acquis essentiels/ importants/majeurs. Il y a en effet des occasions à saisir pour influencer les nouveaux acteurs et mobiliser des ressources plus abondantes en faveur des organisations de droits des femmes.

Pour ce faire, il est essentiel de mener de solides actions collectives et de renforcer le processus d’organisation des activistes des droits des femmes.
 

Notre impact

• Nous avons renforcé notre communauté en ligne
• Nous avons contribué à l’amélioration des réponses aux violences perpétrées contre les défenseuses des droits humains
• Nous avons renforcé le mouvement grâce à des processus de travail collaboratifs
• Nous avons exercé une pression maximale pour que les droits des femmes demeurent au premier plan des processus internationaux majeurs relatifs au développement
• Nous avons permis aux organisations de droits des femmes d’influencer plus efficacement les donateurs et à la communauté des donateurs de mieux percevoir et comprendre les organisations de droits des femmes
• Nous avons contribué à accroître et à améliorer la qualité de la couverture faite par les médias généralistes des problématiques des droits des femmes et des organisations actives dans ce domaine
