AWID Online Tribute Contribution

To be considered for the upcoming Tribute, your contribution must be received by 21 October 2019.

This Tribute focuses on feminist activists that have been part of movements and struggles related to labour rights, land rights, and sexual and bodily autonomy, and helped build resistance and alternatives to neo-colonial/liberal capitalist imperatives as a key element in their agendas.

We also aim to highlight activists from constituencies that are most affected by the oppressions they seek to change and have been at the forefront of inspiring, visualizing and co-creating feminist realities. These include (but are not exclusively) indigenous feminists, trans, non-binary and intersex people, Black feminists, feminist activists with disabilities, informal workers, and sex workers.

If you experience any difficulties, do not hesitate to contact us.
