Location: London, UK

Organization: The Sigrid Rausing Trust

The Sigrid Rausing Trust is a highly respected grant making foundation based in London with a 2019 budget of approximately £40 million. Since its inception in 1995 the Trust has made grants totalling almost £300m. Its trustees award around 300 grants each year, supporting groups working in the UK and overseas.

The role also includes managing the relationship with grantees, conducting research, and keeping informed of developments in the programme area.

You must be well-organised, analytical and with good attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.

The Senior Programme Officer reports to a member of the Senior Management Team. This role is based in London but will require travel up to a minimum of six weeks a year (spread across the year) in the UK and internationally.

Applicants must have a master’s degree and at least seven to ten years’ experience in human rights, ideally women’s rights, and be able to think strategically about opportunities for grant making in women’s rights.
