The Global Women's Institute (GWI) at the George Washington University is now accepting applications for the second cohort of our GenderPro Capacity Building Program!
The GenderPro Capacity Building Program is a first-of-its-kind course designed to educate international development professionals on the skills and knowledge they need to integrate gender into their existing programs and the best approaches to improve the lives of women and girls around the world.
The course consists of about 30 hours of facilitated online learning over 14 weeks, an applied practicum focused on a work deliverable, and a one-week residential course in Washington, D.C at the conclusion of the program. Each participant will select one of two sector-specific tracks — Public Health or Social Development.
Our second cohort will begin on September 16th, 2019 and the application deadline for the second cohort will be August 1st, 2019. Eligible participants are mid- to senior-level global development, gender, and/or humanitarian professionals who are interested in deepening their skills in integrating gender into development programming.
