Call for proposals: Organizing Equality International Conference

Organizing Equality is a major international conference hosted by members of the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Western University  and will take place at Museum London between the 24th and 26th of March 2017.

It is a rare activist-scholarly gathering that focuses on organizing at its core, and seeks to build capacity in the local London, Ontario, Western University campus, and our connected diasporic and transnational communities from Sept. 2016 to March 2017, in the lead up to the international gathering.

This March 2017 conference will bring academics, artists, cultural producers, advocates, organizers and activists together from across Turtle Island and around the globe to address inequality, share lessons of organizing and to develop new forms of knowing, thinking and acting together to guide future struggles.

Some subsidies are available for travel and accommodations, especially to participants from the Global South.
