You support the good management and institutional commitment of International Alert's programs in Mali in terms of governance of security and citizen participation in conflict analysis and response. You are in charge of the operational and strategic development of the program and its coordination with the partners and the country and regional management.
The objective of the position is to ensure that the implementation of the Safety Governance Program is qualitative, within budget and expected results, and can demonstrate a visible impact in the communities and regions where the program is based. is implemented in the regions of Mopti, Segou and Timbuktu.
With excellent conflict analysis skills, conflict-sensitive programming, and community, national and international institutional engagement, you have at least eight years of experience working with NGOs or international organizations on civil-military relations , community policing, governance. You have excellent capacity for managing human resources, budgets and implementing peacebuilding projects.
You have the opportunity to work in one of the world's leading peacebuilding organizations in the field of violence reduction through a better understanding of the root causes of conflict in central and northern Mali . With a regional expansion program, you have the opportunity to contribute directly to the strategic development of the theme of security governance within International Alert in West Africa and the Sahel.
