AWID Party: Movers and Shakers, Divas and Changemakers

The Forum is now over, but we encourage you to check the "Latest News" section of this site for selected session writeups, transcripts, and other post-forum information. Updates will be posted throughout December and January.

Forum Programme

What's an AWID Forum without dancing and celebration? It's Friday night, and time to let our hair down, put on our dancing shoes, and have a little fun, diva-style! The evening will begin with a 45-minute "That Takes Ovaries" open-mic event, to celebrate gutsy women and acts of defiance from around the world. Ovaries will be followed by a can't-miss-it musical performance by Marilyn Waring and company, and other surprising talents amongst our women leaders. The event will be DJ'ed by WHRnet's own Ana Elena Obando and will feature a cash bar, lots of music, and a dance floor for participants to strut their stuff. Outrageous clothing encouraged!

20:30-24:00, Ballroom 3
