Please join the War Crimes Research Office and the Women and International Law Program of American University Washington College of Law for a full-day conference bringing together experts in international criminal law and feminist jurisprudence to examine advances and missed opportunities in the prosecution of sexual and gender-based crimes before the International Criminal Court and the ad hoc and hybrid criminal tribunals. Patricia Viseur Sellers, former legal advisor for gender and trial attorney at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, will give the keynote address.
