Research Manager

Gender Links is a dynamic Southern African NGO that promotes gender equality through its media, justice and governance programmes, seeks to fill the senior post of Research Manager.

Tasks:
The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Conceptualise and design research projects in the three programme areas.
  • Manage research projects.
  • Analyse data; write and edit reports.
  • Work with relevant staff teams and partners in designing dissemination and advocacy strategies for research.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of research and use this in refining future strategies.

Skills Required:

The successful candidate will be expected to have:

  • A Masters Degree in a relevant social science discipline;
  • At least ten years experience managing gender related research; especially in the media, governance and justice sectors;
  • A thorough knowledge of the Southern African region;
  • Excellent verbal, written and management skills.
