Drawing on the results from AWID's global survey, this executive summary provides the highlights of the initiative's research on religious fundamentalisms.

This brief report presents the highlights of AWID’s research to date on women’s rights activists' understanding and experience of the global rise of religious fundamentalisms. It draws on the results of a global survey of over 1,600 women’s rights activists, in-depth interviews with over 50 key experts, as well as supplementary research and consultations.
