We are pleased to announce the launch in Arabic of Brief 11: "The Impact of the Crisis on Women: Main trends across regions", from our series The Impact of the Crisis on Women.
We believe this publication is a key contribution towards building bridges with the Arab region.
This brief presents the main trends emerging from a cross–regional analysis of the impact of the crisis on women’s rights. Both the similarities across regions – as well as the differences – are drawn out. Evidence to date indicates that existing structural inequalities will mean that women – particularly poor and marginalized women - are impacted disproportionately by this crisis.
