Individual Member: Mussurut Zia

Mussurut was born in Pakistan and now resides in North community development, working with diverse communities to empower, train, engage and participate in social, environmental, educational and political spheres of life. Mussurut is passionate about education for all and particularly keen to develop and empower women. She is inspired by her principles and  passion against injustice specifically injustice towards women. In 2007 she founded an organisation, Practical Solutions, in response to the acute need to challenge forced marriage and “honour based” violence.
