Jennifer Ali was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan while belonging to a poor Sindhi family from a village of Sindh called “Mirpur Sakroo”. Jennifer travelled to Malaysia to complete her studies in BSc Computing with Majors in Multimedia, and was awarded her degree by the Staffordshire University, United Kingdom. In 2010 Jennifer ended her career in the banking sector in Karachi. Soon after that Jennifer started the first free suicide prevention helpline in Pakistan. In 2011 Jennifer founded “Heaven on Earth”. This project is based on gender justice in Pakistan and aims to build a rehabilitation center for underprivileged hermaphrodite community in Pakistan. In 2012, her project “Heaven on Earth” ranked fourth worldwide and became a world champion of YouthforYouth Competition organized by a Slovenian based organization Challenge: Future. Jennifer has been featured on Health TV and has appeared on a Women’s Day special on March 8, 2012 as an expert speaker on women’s empowerment.
